Before
Michał, a swimming instructor and lifeguard, built the school from scratch (it has been running since February 2025). Parents bring children from age 4, plus teenagers and adults who want to lose their fear of water. The school lived on Facebook, with no place of its own on the internet where a parent could check who they were handing their child over to at the pool.
What was built
- A clear, calm information site that says who the school is, what the classes look like and who runs them
- Guides for parents (e.g. “how to choose goggles for your child”), so the school can be found on Google
- A recognizable look from the first visit: the orca and water theme, a light palette of navy and blue
- A downloadable poster for pools and schools, so the information also circulates offline
Technical challenges
The site had to be light and fast, because parents check it on their phone at the pool. It also needed a calm, professional tone in the copy, building trust from the very first visit, with no marketing noise.
What changed
The school has its own place on the internet to complement Facebook. A parent who hears about the classes can check who they are dealing with before asking on Messenger.
What comes next
All the school’s operations (schedule, enrolment, passes, payments) will be taken over by the application, ORKA App. The site stays as the school’s home, the app does the work.
